About Us

Christ's Church in the Frenchtown Community
Frenchtown Church has been embedded in the Frenchtown community for over 160 years. For some time in the mid 1800s, a group of local residents joyfully gathered on Sundays at a one-room school building on the property, and then they formally incorporated as a church in 1858. Throughout the decades the community has seen many changes, and the church has changed along with it. We still joyfully gather to discuss the unchanging message of the love of God in Christ, but we also seek to be the church that engages the current generation in this community.
